COME AND CONNECT TOGATHER

Audiance communicate through journalism tools is called "CITIZEN JOURNALISM" said Owais mangalwala in Jinnah university lecture. This lecture was organised by mass communication department.

Now people are very exited about to know about journalism like "KHOJ LAGANA." Citizen journalist share his own experiances to common people and who faces the problems and share with others. He said that citizen journalist follow the four basic points i.e.

• Sharing of Experiance
• Sharing of Opinion
• Sharing of Discovery
• Sharing of Expertise

He said that some people are against of citizen journalism and some are think that it's power of democracy but democracy is power of people.So citizen journalist convey the massages to poeple and highlight those issues which are neglected by media. It also corrects  the media where it is wrong.
He shared his key pionts with the students which are:

• Material should be based on facts and figures. don't share own opinion.
• Don't wait for big events. It happens all around of us we should just reprot it.
• Make and write your own point of view and express it in your terms.
• Don't think that your topic is so boring try to make it interesting.
• First you write about short events.
• Be discriptive, don't exaggerate.
• Your facts should be very accurate if it is not so there is no value of it.
• Tell about your servey, searching, writing style, correct grammer and usage of good language.
• Code of conduct, make your own rules for yourself.
• Avoid copy, pleasurisum should be avoided.
• Find the mental level of people like reporters etc.
• Take feedback, critisim, think about problem ang get solution.

"Citizen journalist should work on these points" he further said so it was the end of that lecure.
